7. June 5th marks the Dragon Boat Festival, often referred to as the "Fifth Day of the Fifth Month." I asked my grandfather about its origin, and he explained, "The Dragon Boat Festival is to honor the ancient Chinese patriot Qu Yuan." When Qu Yuan was a court official, he was betrayed by corrupt officials. Unwilling to witness his country's destruction, he drowned himself in the Miluo River. After hearing the news, the people of the state rushed to rescue him, and since then, the Dragon Boat Festival has been celebrated.
8. "Come here, Shijie," my mother called while working in the kitchen. She asked me to help her wrap zongzi. I was hesitant, but she encouraged me, "Just follow my lead, and I'll guide you."
