My name is Liu Peipei. I’m from a country school named Daying.
I am very glad to stand here and make a speech. I’d like to tell you something about my school life.
I love my school life. School is the place where I get knowledge. I study in class and I read and do sports outside class .When listening to the teachers in class, I can feel confidence. When reading books, I can make myself either happy or excited. When on the playground, I feel myself a professional athlete. When working out difficult problems, I can feel I am like a hero that wins the war. Books are my best friend. From the books, I know the earth goes around the sun. I know English is the most common language in the world and I know our country is rich and beautiful.
I love my school life. School is the place where I enjoy friendship. At school, I can make friends with different persons from different places. I am kind and polite, so I am very popular in the school. I often play games with my friends and study, and talk with them. We talk about everything, some of which make us happy and some make us sad. We share happiness and sadness and we often help each other.
I love my school life. School is the place where we meet lots of challenges. We have many tests, though perhaps some of us dislike them. I learn a lot from tests. If I want to get good grades, I must be confident and get over nervousness. When failing the test, I learn to be brave. When passing the test, I learn not to be proud. I know that nobody will succeed without hard work. I’m getting to grow up.
I love my school life. Not only because it gives me much knowledge, but also because school is a place where we leave our footprints of growing up.
