My achievement in English Study
After learning English for a long time, I would like to summary my study achievement just as an industrious farmer who wants to know how it would go when the time of harvest is coming.
Firstly, because of the progress on reading, I find more and more reading materials become accessible to me, such as English newspapers, magazines and English original novels. Of course I am still new for the further territory in English studying, but I want to keep my pace on it, since I love to know more about histories, cultures, thoughts, living styles of those who live in the English speaking nations.
Secondly, because of the progress on listening, I find more and more listening materials become available to me, such as English talk shows, news reports and comedies. Of course I am still baby-level for those who can translate lines to local Chinese expression by their powerful listening comprehension, but I want to emulate them as a good example, since I love to taste and feel the real live of people in different English speaking nations.
Third, because of the progress on communication, I find it making friends with more and more people speaking English become realizable to me, no matter with those from UK, American or Canada. Of course I am still stammer-like when I try to express my thoughts especially when I encounter with not-often-use words, but I want to try my best to master them, since I love to exchange ideas with people of different backgrounds and course of growth.
Dear friends, here’s my summary of English study achievement, and I am well known that there would be more I should learn and the way to the goal is still long. But just as an industrious farmer, after hardworking for a season, I am proud of what I’ve done.
