为了提高课堂效率,优化小学英语课堂教学,小学英语教师需要实施有效课堂管理,保证适量教学内容,开展小组合作学习,引进竞争调控机制,提高课堂调控能力。
(一)组织课前教学
英语教学中称为“Warming up”, 能很好地调动学生的学习热情,吸引学生的注意力。形式可以有:唱英文歌曲,说韵句,做游戏,听口令做动作,加减运算,报数接龙等。
(二)明确课堂信号
课堂指令明确,高效,才能保证教学各环节顺利进行,节省时间,提高效率。停止,安静信号。1.老师说 one, two, three . 学生说 three, two, one. 2.老师说 Ears, ears,学生说 Listen, listen.( Eyes ,eyes--- look, look.)3.教师说:plus and minus .提醒学生接着有加减法算式。然后教师出一题,让学生回答。 4.有节奏地拍掌。学生模仿教师,拍出正确的节奏。 5.高举“STOP”指示牌。

1、大小声:教师大声读单词的时候,学生必须轻声读;教师轻声读的时候,学生必须大声读。如此大声、小声交替快速朗读,学生的注意力非常集中,能够很快地读准单词。 2、猜拳:猜拳是每一个孩子都会玩而且爱玩的游戏。我们把单词作为猜拳的口令,组织学生进行游戏。比如:在学习“father\ mother\ brother”时,我们用“father\ mother\ brother”代替“锤子、剪刀、布”。学生边说单词边玩猜拳,获胜者高举“V”字手势,兴趣盎然。3、看嘴型猜单词:教师只做单词发音的口型,不发出声音,学生看口型,猜出单词,并大声地说出来。这样能让学生集中注意力,清楚地看到教师发音的口型,更好地读准单词。教师示范后,可以由一个学生做口型,其他学生猜;也可以在小组活动中玩这个游戏。学生参与的积极性很高。4、击鼓传花:全班分成若干组,每个组各拿一个单词卡或图片,教师发指令:“ Begin!”各组快速传卡片或图片,边传边读该卡片上的单词,教师说:“Stop!” 全部停下,拿到卡片的学生必须站起来,读出该单词。 5、找朋友:把单词卡和对应的图片发给若干个学生,由一个学生随意说出卡片上的单词,拿着该单词和对应图片的学生迅速跑出来,站在一起,结成朋友„„站对了全班同学一起读出该单词,这样利于学生巩固单词,以便更好地记住单词的音、形、义。

在英语课堂中,最常用的口令莫过于:“one,two,three,situpstraight.”“one,two,three,ABC.”对于这个口令,在一节课中如果老师总是念owothree太多次的话,学生也无所谓了。
这些口令可以是一句歌曲,学生接下一句歌曲。
在我二年级教授的班级,我制作了“good”的贴纸代替小贴纸,这些“good”对他们来说非常重要,因此,在这个贴纸上,我和孩子们一起想了一个和它密切相关的口令,当他们开始没坐直的时候,我会说:“Look,look,yougivemegood?”学生看到我做“look”,的动作时,已经马上坐好了,同时回答我:“no,no,nogood”.当时如果有学生坐得不好,或者反应太慢,就要被没收自己的一张good了。
课堂的口令还有很多,但是如果是老师自己和学生创造的,那么他们会更加注意,而且会觉得很有趣。
在教学过程中,老师一定要了解自己的学生,和他们一起创造出属于自己的语言,达到共识是最好的办法。
2、创新评价方式,吸引学生
