在家或外出就餐时，我有多久没有剩过饭菜或打包？相信绝大部分人都会对类似的问题不屑一顾，因为在他志愿者在北京一家饭店就餐后端起空盘合影们看来，这早已是远离饥饿与食不果腹的年代，已不必再去对所谓的剩菜剩饭斤斤计较。而正在发起的“光盘行动”，显然是在试图提醒与告诫我们：饥饿感距离我们仍并不遥远，而即便时至今日，尊重粮食仍是需要被奉行的古老美德之一。
2012年的世界粮食日里，国家粮食局首次向全国粮食干部职工发起倡议，倡导自愿参加24小时饥饿体验活动，以更好地警醒世人“丰年不忘灾年，增产不忘节约，消费不能浪费”。每个人当然不必都去重新体验饥饿，但我们的确要找回一种对于粮食的温暖与敬意。诗人海子曾经说，“从明天起，关心粮食和蔬菜” 。我们也不妨这样赶紧行动起来，接力成为“光盘”一族。
我真的希望“光盘行动”的开始能让人们快快醒来，快快的投入到勤俭、节约中去！
Recently,people come to realize how muchgrain wewasted every year. And everyone is called on to join a program,called "GuangpanXingdong",which requires people to eat up all our food.
As for me,i think it's a extremely good idea to follow.And there are lots of things we can do to contribute our efforts to it.For example,when we go out for dinner,we can just order as much food as we can eat to make sure little will be wasted.Of course if we really can't eat up our food,it's also ok to take it home,so we can eat it later.Besides,once we have achance to have meals with other people,who don't realize the importance,we can explain what the program is for and persuade them from wasting food.
Some may question whether the campaign have any effect,but,i think ,one thing we should keep in mind is that no matter what a small effort we make,it do make a difference.
At present there are more than onehundred million people suffering fromstarvation , As a member of this big family inChina ,do we have the reason to waste ? No !So what should we do to reduce theunnecessary waste of food in the diningtable ? Recently, more and more peoplebegin to realize the importance of saving , apopular action called “Clear your plate”encourages the public to eat up the food intheir plates . I strongly agree with thiscampaign . Besides , many restaurants startto provide the guests with half-portioneddishes、smaller dishes and assorted dishesin order to reduce the waste , and inspire thecustomers to take leftovers home . I thinkthese good phenomena indicate that we willget great progress in food saving .

In our school,for example,there is always rice,chaken,and other food Ieft after finishing eating. Paper has been dropped have and ther.Water is still running and the light is on after we ues it .so what should we do to stop this?
