初学英语的小学生，对英语有着强烈的兴趣和好奇心，如果教师能抓住这一点加以正确引导，树立学生学习的自信心，将会收到事半功倍的效果。那么如何激发学生长期保持学习英语的兴趣，是我们一直探讨的课题。在这些年的英语课堂教学工作中，我感到最吸引孩子们眼球的活动，就是竞赛和游戏。
在一次英语课上，我在教“What’s this in English? It’s a……”时，由于录音中语速太快，学生跟不上来，我便放慢语速，让学生跟读，但几遍下来，有些同学的语速还是有些绕不过来，便产生了畏惧情绪、不愿再读了，还有些学会了的同学就骄傲起来了，他们在别人朗读时不认真听，随意插嘴，当时班级里实在是乱极了。我突然灵机一动，把全班分为四个小组来竞赛，看哪两个小组读得既清晰准确又响亮整齐，就给他们每组各加一面小红旗，结果这一招还真灵验，每个小组都干劲十足了，都读出了自己的最好水平。在进行另外一个句子Do you like monkeys?时，我问同学们要不要再比试一轮，他们齐声说“要！”于是我让他们开始了新一轮的竞争，待同学们基本上都读得很好了时，我看教育的时机已到，于是我说：“老师开始学英语时有很多句子也不会读的，谁愿意教老师读？”学生们都争先孔后地举起手来当小老师。

3、 通过创设情境，使学生感受并运用语言，进一步培养学生口语交际能力。
4、 通过“猜谜”“表演”开展“ Fruit party ”等富有情趣的课堂活动，激发学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣，培养学生多说、多用、多练的良好学习习惯，并使学生能在真实的语言情境中运用语言，达到学以致用的目的。

1、本节课根据学生模仿力、表现欲、求知欲强和注意力不易长时间集中的特点，教师采用综合的教学路子，在教学中注重创设游戏情景、运用体验法、情景法、任务型教学法、交际法等教学方法。

曾经听过两节公开课，是《英语（新目标）》7A Unit6 Section B，相同的教学内容，学生的基础也相同期间两位老师都运用到一个教学环节，要求学生在规定时间内重新组织一个新对话。
片段一，老师甲在讲完一个新对话时，让学生练习，教师说：“Now ,I will give you five munities, you can make up a new dialogue.”然后给学生五分钟的时间，同时在电脑屏幕上显示一个秒表计时器，教师喊： “begin.” 秒表计时器开始计时，所有的学生都投入到新对话的组织中，教师在四周巡视，观察学生的动向，给一些学生指导和帮助。秒表计时器时间到，教师立刻喊： “stop.”秒表计时器停止，刚好是五分钟。所有的学生都停下来，教师说：“Who want to try? 1、学生情况分析
