The most challenge sport I have done is surfing. Surfing isa sport which is full of self-challenge as well as exercises.
I began to learn surfing at the age of 15. My coacher taught me how to control the surf board on the sea, and how to keep balance when a sudden wave strikes on me. At the moment I dive into the huge wave, all of my musclesare streched tensely, and blood all rush into my heart which makes me feel tight and excited, and it is really happy!

Every obstacle can be transformed into an opportunity if a person has the right attitude or perspective. People with this attitude are optimistic, not easily discouraged, and welcome challenges and adversity. A personal example occurred in the sixth grade when I fell off my bike and broke my arm. The doctor had to put a cast on my arm. The cast was certainly an obstacle. It was on my right arm, which I used to write with. It seemed like homework was impossible! But I learned to type with one hand and completed my English and social studies assignments on a typewriter. My mom helped me write down my math homework based on the answers I gave her. This experience definitely improved my typing skills! It also taught me the value of work and truly learned to appreciate my mother. Additionally, having a cast became an excuse to improve my basketball skills. I was a pretty good player, but I was most comfortable with my right hand. However, with the cast, I was forced to practice dribbling with my left hand, and now I can play with both hands effectively. Lastly, there was an unexpected benefit. In art class, I was never good at drawing. But one day, with my arm still in a cast, I tried drawing with my left hand. To my surprise, I drew much better than before! The cast came off, but I still draw with my left hand, and I'm actually very good at it. Maybe without turning my obstacle into an opportunity, I would never have known I had this ability.
