Last Friday was my grandfather’s birthday. To celebrate his birthday, we made many preparations. Early in the morning, my parents and I set off for the department store to find a gift for Grandpa. We chose very carefully, eventually a warm sweater caught our eye and was purchased. To show my love for my grandpa, I made a birthday cake with the help of my mother. In the evening, we got together to celebrate his birthday. With candles lit, we sang happy birthday out loud and clapped. After making a wish, he blew out the candles. The room was alive with the sound of cheering. Then we took a picture of the whole family to record the happy moment. When I saw tears of happiness in Grandpa’s eyes, I was filled with a feeling of accomplishment and happiness. |
